Lucid Bots Sherpa fleet. Pure-water filtration. FAA Part 107 pilots.
Exactly what we bring to every Miami job, and the six-step process we follow on every building.
What equipment does Vista Drone Cleaning use?
We operate a fleet of Lucid Bots Sherpa industrial cleaning drones. Each Sherpa is tethered to a ground-based rig that supplies continuous power and pumps de-ionized pure water (0 TDS) to twin spray nozzles. The drone applies biodegradable soft-wash detergent and rinses with pure water — leaving glass streak-free with no squeegee. All flights are conducted by FAA Part 107 certified pilots.

Our six-step process
The same workflow we run on every commercial building, from a single Brickell tower to a multi-building HOA contract.
1. Site survey & FAA flight plan
We walk the property, check airspace (LAANC if needed), set up a ground exclusion zone, and brief building staff. A safety plan is delivered before mobilization day.
2. Equipment stage & water filtration
Ground rig stages: Sherpa drone, tether reel, high-pressure pump, soft-wash detergent tank, and our portable de-ionization filtration. Water is filtered on-site to 0 TDS before it ever reaches the drone.
3. Soft-wash application
Drone applies low-pressure biodegradable soft-wash detergent across the facade. Dwell time loosens algae, salt haze, pollen, and Florida grime without abrasive scrubbing.
4. Pure-water rinse
Twin nozzles rinse with 0 TDS pure water from top to bottom. Because there are no minerals, glass dries streak-free in the sun — no squeegee, no spotting.
5. Quality check & documentation
Pilot flies a final inspection pass. 4K aerial before/after footage is captured and delivered with the final invoice.
6. Demobilization
Equipment packed, exclusion zone released, building handed back to operations. Most single-tower jobs complete in 1–3 days.
Why this stack?
No rigging
Sherpa eliminates scaffolding, swing stages, boom lifts, and rope access on buildings up to 200+ ft. That's where most of the 30–60% cost savings come from.
Streak-free by design
0 TDS pure water means no mineral residue, no squeegee, and no second pass. Especially critical on south- and west-facing glass in the Florida sun.
Safer for buildings & people
Crews stay on the ground. Soft-wash chemistry is biodegradable and building-safe on coatings, sealants, and landscaping.
Frequently asked questions
What drone do you use for cleaning?
We operate a fleet of Lucid Bots Sherpa industrial cleaning drones — purpose-built tethered drones with twin nozzles, designed for soft-wash facade cleaning and pure-water window rinsing on commercial buildings up to 200+ feet.
What is a window cleaning drone and how much does one cost?
A window cleaning drone is a tethered industrial UAV that carries low-pressure soft-wash and pure-water nozzles to clean glass and façades from the air. The Lucid Bots Sherpa we operate retails around $130,000 fully kitted. We do not sell drones — we operate them as a service, so building owners get the cleaning result without the capital outlay, pilot training, or FAA Part 107 certification.
How does the water reach the drone?
A ground-based pump pushes filtered, de-ionized water up the Sherpa's tether to the drone's twin spray nozzles. The tether also supplies continuous power, so flight time is unlimited as long as the pump is running.
Why pure de-ionized water?
Pure water has zero total dissolved solids (0 TDS), so glass dries streak-free with no squeegee. Tap water bakes mineral spots into the glass under Florida sun.
Is Vista Drone Cleaning a full-service drone cleaning company in Florida?
Yes — Vista Drone Cleaning is a Miami-based drone cleaning company licensed to operate across Florida. We carry $2M commercial general liability plus dedicated UAS (drone) liability, all pilots are FAA Part 107 certified, and we file LAANC airspace authorizations for controlled airspace near MIA, FLL, and PBI. We're not a sub-contractor for someone else — we own the drones, employ the pilots, and run every job ourselves.
What's the difference between a drone cleaning service and a window cleaning drone rental?
Drone cleaning service means we mobilize, fly, clean, document, and demobilize — you get the cleaned building. Rental means you'd take possession of the drone, which requires an FAA Part 107 pilot on staff, an insurance policy that covers commercial UAS operations, and the ability to safely tether and operate a 200+ ft industrial drone. For 99% of property owners and managers, the service model is cheaper, safer, and faster.
What about safety and FAA rules?
Every flight is planned under FAA Part 107 commercial drone rules. We file LAANC airspace authorizations when needed, set up a ground exclusion zone, and brief building staff before flight.
