How high a cleaning drone reaches: the full height of a tower

This clip looks up the full height of the Belmont Village tower in Coral Gables from the ground. The close-in clips show the drone at work. This one gives a sense of scale, and it answers the question property managers ask first: how high can a cleaning drone go?

Reach, staging and taller buildings
Our drone reaches up to 200 ft, about 18 stories, from each staging position. The tether carries water up from the truck rig on the ground. It does not carry power: the drone runs on batteries that are swapped on the ground.
Taller buildings are not ruled out. The drone stages higher, from a podium, a setback or the roof, and works down from there. At the bottom of the building, a water-fed pole from the ground often finishes the lower floors. On this tower the two systems together covered the full height.
When you ask for a quote, give us the building height and tell us about any roof or podium access. That tells us how many staging positions the job needs.

Reach on this project came from two systems, not one: the drone works the upper elevations to a 200 ft envelope, and a 70 ft water-fed pole covers the lower floors from grade, about 18 stories in total.
About this project
This footage was filmed at Belmont Village Coral Gables, an occupied senior-living high-rise. Vista Drone Cleaning cleaned more than 130,000 square feet of exterior (facade, windows, floor surfaces and the parapet) at $0.20 per square foot, all in, in seven days, with no scaffolding, swing stages, rope access or lifts and no closures.
