This clip follows the drone sideways along one elevation of Belmont Village, an occupied senior-living high-rise in Coral Gables. It is the core of drone building cleaning: the aircraft holds a line along the wall while the spray works across it, and a pilot controls it from the ground.

How a high-rise is cleaned by drone
Around it, a high-rise job runs as a small ground operation. A truck rig at the curb filters and heats the water and feeds it up a tether to the drone. The drone runs on batteries that are swapped on the ground, so the water supply never stops. The crew keeps a clear zone under the work.
Reach is up to 200 ft, about 18 stories, from each staging position. Taller towers are handled by staging from a podium, a setback or the roof. On this building a water-fed pole from the ground covered the lower floors.
For a property manager, the difference is what is not on site: no scaffold, no swing stage rigged from the roof, no lift in the drop-off lane. Residents keep using the entrances while the work goes on above them.
What you are seeing
A lateral traverse along one elevation at working height, holding a consistent standoff distance from the wall.
Standoff distance is what protects the substrate. The drone holds its offset from the facade while the operator works from the ground, so cleaning pressure at the wall stays constant across the whole elevation.
About this project
This footage was filmed at Belmont Village Coral Gables, an occupied senior-living high-rise. Vista Drone Cleaning cleaned more than 130,000 square feet of exterior (facade, windows, floor surfaces and the parapet) at $0.20 per square foot, all in, in seven days, with no scaffolding, swing stages, rope access or lifts and no closures.
