What you are seeing
A short transit above the building's outdoor amenity level as the drone moves between elevations. Residents kept normal use of the outdoor areas throughout the project.
Amenity decks are where traditional access hurts most: a scaffold or lift footprint closes the courtyard for the duration. Staging the drone off the truck at the perimeter kept this one open.
About this project
This footage was filmed at Belmont Village Coral Gables, an occupied senior-living high-rise developed in collaboration with Baptist Health South Florida. Vista Drone Cleaning cleaned more than 100,000 square feet of facade at $0.20 per square foot over about two weeks, with the building fully occupied throughout — no scaffolding, no swing stages, no rope access, and no closed sidewalks or entrances.
- Tethered soft-wash drone to a manufacturer-published 150 ft, plus a 70 ft water-fed pole from grade — roughly 13 to 15 stories.
- Heated sodium percarbonate (oxygen bleach), so no sodium hypochlorite, no chlorine odor and no plant kill at grade.
- Flown under FAA Part 107 with $2M liability insurance in force.
