Aerial pass down a Coral Gables high-rise facade by cleaning drone
40 sec · Filmed on site at Belmont Village, Coral Gables · Vista Drone Cleaning
An aerial pass down the facade of a Coral Gables high-rise during a drone exterior cleaning. Vista Drone Cleaning's tethered soft-wash drone reaches the full building envelope with no scaffolding.
What you are seeing
A continuous working pass down one elevation of the building, following the bay from the parapet down toward grade.
Top-down is the working order. Rinse water carries loosened soil downward, so a facade is always cleaned from the parapet toward grade to avoid re-soiling finished work below.
About this project
This footage was filmed at Belmont Village Coral Gables, an occupied senior-living high-rise developed in collaboration with Baptist Health South Florida. Vista Drone Cleaning cleaned more than 100,000 square feet of facade at $0.20 per square foot over about two weeks, with the building fully occupied throughout — no scaffolding, no swing stages, no rope access, and no closed sidewalks or entrances.
- Tethered soft-wash drone to a manufacturer-published 150 ft, plus a 70 ft water-fed pole from grade — roughly 13 to 15 stories.
- Heated sodium percarbonate (oxygen bleach), so no sodium hypochlorite, no chlorine odor and no plant kill at grade.
- Flown under FAA Part 107 with $2M liability insurance in force.
