This is one continuous working pass down a single elevation of Belmont Village in Coral Gables, following the bay from the parapet toward the ground. It shows the rule every facade cleaning follows: start at the top and finish at the bottom.

Why the work order runs from the parapet down
Rinse water always runs down. If a crew cleans the lower floors first, dirty runoff from the floors above streaks across the finished work. Cleaning from the parapet down means each pass only ever runs onto wall that has not been cleaned yet.
The parapet is also the part traditional access handles worst. On this building it was the one element no lift, swing stage or rope crew could reach, and the drone cleaned it from the air. A water-fed pole from the ground finished the lower floors, so the order held from the roof to the sidewalk.
Top-down work also lets a building be cleaned one elevation at a time. Ask for the elevation order in the job plan, so you can tell residents which side of the building is being worked on which day.

Top-down is the working order. Rinse water carries loosened soil downward, so a facade is always cleaned from the parapet toward grade to avoid re-soiling finished work below.
About this project
This footage was filmed at Belmont Village Coral Gables, an occupied senior-living high-rise. Vista Drone Cleaning cleaned more than 130,000 square feet of exterior (facade, windows, floor surfaces and the parapet) at $0.20 per square foot, all in, in seven days, with no scaffolding, swing stages, rope access or lifts and no closures.
