Tethered drone climbing a Coral Gables high-rise above the treeline

22 sec · Filmed on site at Belmont Village, Coral Gables · Vista Drone Cleaning

A tethered soft-wash drone climbing a Coral Gables high-rise facade above the treeline. Vista Drone Cleaning — commercial exterior cleaning with no ropes, lifts, or scaffolding.

What you are seeing

The drone rising out of the mature tree canopy that screens the lower floors and continuing up the facade.

Mature landscaping is exactly what blocks a boom lift: there is no clear path to set outriggers and no line to the wall above the canopy. Launching from a clear spot at the perimeter avoids removing or pruning anything.

About this project

This footage was filmed at Belmont Village Coral Gables, an occupied senior-living high-rise developed in collaboration with Baptist Health South Florida. Vista Drone Cleaning cleaned more than 100,000 square feet of facade at $0.20 per square foot over about two weeks, with the building fully occupied throughout — no scaffolding, no swing stages, no rope access, and no closed sidewalks or entrances.

  • Tethered soft-wash drone to a manufacturer-published 150 ft, plus a 70 ft water-fed pole from grade — roughly 13 to 15 stories.
  • Heated sodium percarbonate (oxygen bleach), so no sodium hypochlorite, no chlorine odor and no plant kill at grade.
  • Flown under FAA Part 107 with $2M liability insurance in force.
