What you are seeing

The drone climbs past the mural on the corner of the building and works the windows on the side street, while the wash rig waits at the curb with the hose running along the gutter. A crew member in a high-visibility vest watches the space below the drone.

Commercial drone rules restrict flying over people and moving cars, and the rig and hose take up part of the street. That is what the maintenance of traffic plan, the City permits and the rented meter spaces were for: they keep the area under the drone empty without closing the shops.

About this project

This footage was filmed at Sentral Wynwood, a mixed-use apartment building at 51 NW 26th St with shops and a restaurant at street level. Vista Drone Cleaning cleaned the facade and every exterior window in 2 days on site, with the drone and a rope access crew working at the same time and every shop open throughout.

• A maintenance of traffic (MOT) plan, City permits and meter spaces rented from the Miami Parking Authority for the work over the street.
