What you are seeing

The drone tracks along the upper floors above the House of Mane storefront on Sunday morning, washing the windows from the top down. The line hanging below it is the tether, which carries water up from the rig at the curb, not power.

The street side of this building is why the job had an MOT plan: with the drone working over the sidewalk, the space below it stayed coned off while the shops kept their doors open.

About this project

This footage was filmed at Sentral Wynwood, a mixed-use apartment building at 51 NW 26th St with shops and a restaurant at street level. Vista Drone Cleaning cleaned the facade and every exterior window in 2 days on site, with the drone and a rope access crew working at the same time and every shop open throughout.

• A maintenance of traffic (MOT) plan, City permits and meter spaces rented from the Miami Parking Authority for the work over the street.
• Tethered drone on the open glass, rope access behind the railings and fins and in the inside corners.
• Every pane finished with deionized water, so it dries spot-free.
• About $0.10 per sq ft, facade and windows together.
• Flown under FAA Part 107 with $2M liability coverage.
